Anyone who knows me knows how much I believe in gratitude. Years ago, inspired by friends, I shared my gratitude on Facebook called Grati-tuesday, where once a week I shared what I was thankful for. I haven’t posted consistently in years, but I always enjoy seeing the memories pop up and thinking about all the amazing things there are to experience. Now that I am a busy mom and business owner I barely have time to breathe! Still, I try to find a few minutes each day to list a few things I am grateful for. I even try to share them with a few friends, which helps keep it a daily habit.
As a massage therapist, I see how gratitude and massage walk hand in hand. Both shift how we feel inside, both ease the weight of stress, and both remind us to be fully present in the moment. When I massage, it’s not only about physical care—it’s also about creating space for the same sense of calm, balance, and renewal that gratitude brings.
Here are some of the ways gratitude and massage reflect one another:

For me, the greatest gift is being able to bring these two worlds together. Gratitude shapes how I show up in my work, and massage gives me the privilege to share that presence with you. Every session becomes more than bodywork—it becomes part of a cycle of gratitude, healing, and connection that I am honored to share with each client.
