Chair Massage Ethics: Public, Visible, Professional 3CE LIVE
This three-hour chair massage ETHICS course focuses on maintaining professionalism, safety, and clear ethical boundaries while working in public, high-visibility environments. The class is informed by nearly ten years of firsthand experience as a massage therapist working in Las Vegas casinos, conventions, and large-scale chair massage events. Drawing from real-world scenarios in one of the busiest and most challenging chair massage markets in the country, the course addresses ethical decision-making when clients may be consuming alcohol, when clothing adjustments such as lifting a shirt are requested or considered, and how to respond to smoking, inappropriate conversations, or boundary-testing behavior. Emphasis is placed on assessing consent, client capacity, and practitioner liability while maintaining a polished, professional presence. Practical strategies are shared for communication, positioning, draping alternatives, and appearance, allowing therapists to work confidently, ethically, and successfully in public chair massage settings.
Students will demonstrate an understanding of body mechanics and how it differs in the private setting. Students will demonstrate communication skills involving conversations that may be controversial or inappropriate. Students will demonstrate the importance of draping and how this differs in a public setting.

This three-hour continuing education course explores Ahimsa, the yogic principle of non-harm, as it applies to communication in massage therapy. By drawing parallels between yoga and massage, the class highlights how both practices rely on presence, awareness, consent, and intentional communication to support safe and effective care. The course emphasizes the “do no harm” concept not only in hands-on work, but also in client intake, informed consent, session dialogue, and post-session communication. Through discussion and practical examples, participants will learn how yoga principles such as mindfulness, compassion, and restraint can guide professional communication and ethical decision-making. This class supports clearer communication, stronger therapeutic relationships, and confident, ethical practice by integrating foundational yoga philosophy with modern massage therapy standards.
Working together as Massage Therapists 3CE Webinar
Working with other therapists can seem hard when beginning a career. This COMMUNICATION class will let us look at ways to build relationships and not see other therapists as competition. We will discuss competition and collaboration and see how working in new environments will present situations where understanding this will improve communication.
Let’s shift the mindset from competition to community. In this inspiring three-hour continuing education class, we’ll explore how massage therapists can overcome the fear of competing with one another and instead embrace collaboration.
Together, we’ll discuss practical ways to build supportive professional relationships, share resources, and strengthen the massage industry as a whole. When we lift each other up, we all succeed—and our clients receive better care.
