I started a daily practice of yoga several years ago and it absolutely changed my life! My journey went far beyond my original goal of losing weight and becoming more flexible and resulted in taking greater responsibility for my overall health and well-being. While yoga is a great form of exercise, it can be a spiritual practice as well.
I completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training course with Yoga Works in Las Vegas in 2016. Just as the class was completing I was blessed to learn at 40 I was pregnant! Between pregnancy and other obligations I let my practice fall to the side. Losing daily yoga took a toll on my health, mentally and physically. As I resume my practice, I continue to embrace tolerance and acceptance of where I am in life now. I will soon be sharing my love of yoga with others and offering support.
